School Meals

Our school lunches are excellent!

Children can choose from a variety of different options:

  1. Hot Dinner
  2. ‘Grab-a-Bag’
  3. Jacket Potato/Pasta Pot

Should your child not wish to eat a school lunch, we ask that you provide a healthy packed lunch in a suitable container with your child’s name on. Water or fruit juice should be provided in a suitable container. Fizzy pop is not permitted. We have achieved our Silver Healthy School Award and would appreciate your support by discouraging children from bringing sweets and chocolate to school in their lunch boxes.

Dinner monies should be paid using ParentPay and current charges are £9.00 per week (£1.80 per day). Please ask about using ParentPay at the School Office.

Drinks and snacks

Children should have a fresh bottle of water in school every day. Facilities are available in school where children can refill them at lunchtime and playtimes. Please do not fill water bottles with juice.

We have a Healthy Tuck shop which sells healthy snacks to the children at playtime. Items on sale include smoothies, fresh fruit, yogurt drinks and pure juice. We do not allow crisps, sweets or chocolate in the playground. You are encouraged to send your child with a piece of fruit or money to purchase some during break; children in KS1 are entitled to a free piece of fruit daily.
